STENVO

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 August 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Stenvo collects, uses, and protects the personal information you provide through the Stenvo waitlist. By submitting your information, you acknowledge and accept the practices set out below.

1. Information We Collect

Stenvo collects only the personal information you voluntarily submit through the waitlist form, namely your name, email address, and any optional information you elect to provide (which may include your location, your areas of potential reporting, your professional role, or the subjects you wish to investigate). No other personal information is collected at this stage.

When the platform opens, Reporters who choose to receive payment will additionally be asked for the details required to pay them — bank or mobile wallet details, and the name registered to that account — and Reporters who submit reports will provide the photographs and notes contained in those reports. That information is collected only at the point you choose to provide it, and only for the purpose it is given.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

Stenvo does not employ cookies, analytics tools, tracking pixels, or any other form of automated or third-party tracking on this website. Stenvo does not profile users and does not collect any information automatically or in the background.

3. Purpose and Lawful Basis of Processing

The personal information collected is processed solely for the purpose of contacting you in connection with Stenvo’s launch and early access, and to assess prospective interest in the platform. Processing is carried out on the basis of the consent you provide at the point of submission.

4. Disclosure to Third Parties

Stenvo does not sell, rent, license, or otherwise disclose your personal information to any third party.

5. Data Security

Stenvo implements reasonable technical and organisational measures to safeguard the personal information collected against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Access to such information is strictly limited to the individual operating Stenvo.

Information is stored on cloud infrastructure operated by established providers located in the United States. Submitting your information therefore involves a transfer of that information outside your country of residence.

6. Data Retention

Stenvo retains your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, namely until Stenvo’s launch and the completion of related communications, and in any event for no longer than twenty-four (24) months from the date of collection, whichever occurs first, after which it is deleted. You may request earlier deletion at any time. In the event that the project does not proceed, all waitlist information shall be deleted.

7. Your Rights

You are entitled to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting [email protected]. Stenvo shall action confirmed deletion requests without undue delay. Where applicable, data subjects in the European Union and United Kingdom retain their rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and data subjects in Singapore retain their rights under the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Stenvo observes these rights for all users regardless of jurisdiction.

8. Identity of the Data Controller

Stenvo is an early-stage project operated by its founder; a Hong Kong company is being incorporated and will assume this role. Until that incorporation is completed, the individual operating Stenvo acts as the data controller responsible for the personal information collected through this website. Upon incorporation, the rights and obligations under this Policy shall transfer to the incorporated entity.

9. Amendments

Stenvo reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any amendments will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. Upon incorporation of the Stenvo entity, this Policy will be updated accordingly.

10. Contact

Any questions or requests concerning this Privacy Policy or your personal information may be directed to [email protected].
